Our club hockey is played primarily on the two excellent hybrid astro pitches at the Univeristy of Leeds facility at Weetwood in Headingley.
Some matches also occasionally take place at the nearby Horsforth High School. Directions and maps below...

From the South
From the M1 leave at Junction 43 and take the M621 towards Leeds City Centre. Leave at Junction 2 onto the A643. Then follow the A65
towards Kirkstall. Follow the A65 for about 2.5 miles until you see Kirkstall Abbey on your left hand side. Then turn right at the traffic lights
onto Abbey Walk going up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left onto Spen Lane. At the mini roundabout bear right underneath the train
bridge continuing up the hill. Next two mini roundabouts, go straight on continuing up the hill. At the main junction traffic lights, turn right
onto the A6120 (Leeds Ring Road). At the big roundabout turn right then take the next immediate left entering the sports grounds via the
Weetwood Hall entrance.
From the East
Travelling on the M62 westbound take the M1 at Junction 29, then take the M621. Leave the M621 at Junction 2 taking the A643.
Then follow the A65 towards Kirkstall. Follow the A65 for about 2.5 miles until you see Kirkstall Abbey on your left hand side. Then turn right
at the traffic lights onto Abbey Walk going up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left onto Spen Lane. At the mini roundabout bear right going
underneath the train bridge and continuing up the hill. Next two mini roundabouts, go straight on continuing up the hill. At the main junction
traffic lights, turn right onto the A6120 (Leeds Ring Road). At the big roundabout turn right then take the next immediate left entering the
sports grounds via the Weetwood Hall entrance.
From the West
Travelling on the M62 eastbound (from Manchester direction) take Junction 27 onto the M621. Leave the M621 at Junction 2 and take
the A643. Then follow the A65 towards Kirkstall. Follow the A65 for about 2.5 miles until you see Kirkstall Abbey on your left hand side.
Then turn right at the traffic lights onto Abbey Walk going up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left onto Spen Lane. At the mini roundabout
bear right going underneath the train bridge. Next two mini roundabouts, go straight on up the hill. At the main junction traffic lights,
turn right onto the A6120 (Leeds Ring Road). At the big roundabout turn right then take the next immediate left entering the sports grounds
via the Weetwood Hall entrance.
From the North
Leave the A1 at Wetherby and follow the A58 towards Leeds. Continue on the A58 and then turn right onto the A6120 (Leeds Ring Road).
Stay on the A6120 for two roundabouts. Turn left into the car park just before you reach the third big roundabout. If you miss the entrance
to the car park, then turn left at the big roundabout and take your next immediate left entering the sports grounds via the Weetwood Hall
entrance.

From the North
Leave the A1 at Wetherby and follow the A58 towards Leeds. Continue on the A58 and then turn right onto the A6120 (Leeds Ring Road).
Stay on the A6120 for four roundabouts. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fink Hill (The Toby Carvery Pub is on your right hand side).
After about 1 mile you will pass a pelican crossing, then turn left into St. Margarets Avenue and then left onto Lee Lane East. Finally take
the next left into the entrance of the school.
From the South
From the M1 leave at Junction 43 and take the M621 towards Leeds City Centre. Leave at Junction 2 onto the A643. Then follow the A65
towards Kirkstall. Follow the A65 and when you see Kirkstall Abbey on your left hand side, turn right at the traffic lights onto Abbey Walk
going up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left onto Spen Lane. At the mini roundabout bear right underneath the train bridge.
Next two mini roundabouts, go straight on continuing up the hill. At the main junction traffic lights, turn left onto the A6120 (Ring Road).
Continue on the A6120 and go staright over at the roundabout. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fink Hill (The Toby Carvery Pub is on

Post match teas
If your match is played at Weetwood, teas and water are usually served upstairs above the changing rooms in the cricket pavillion.
However, drinks are available in the Stand Bar overlooking the main hockey pitch.
If your match is played at Horsforth High School, teas are usually served at the Old Ball Pub on Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth (LS18 5SB). The Leeds Captain will advise on the day. Please note - there are alternative routes to both Weetwood and Horsforth, however Headingley (A660) can be very busy at times especially at weekends and early evenings. |
