Joining Leeds Hockey Club is simple....
STEP 1: Come to training
If you would like to join our club to play at any level, the best thing to do is come down to one of the training sessions,
check out our facilities and meet the coaches and players. You may like to pass your contact details to a captain so they can stay in touch with you!
STEP 2: Register your details
If you like the Club and want to become a member, you will need to complete an official registration form and then pay an annual subscription fee.

2: Complete the form then bring it along to training and hand to a coach or captain.
Once we have received your completed form we will generate your official Club Number, which is needed for league registration.
We will share your details with the player selection committee, so we can pick for matches, subject to payment of your subs!
When you fill the form in, you can also sign up for club emails.
STEP 3: Pay your annual subscription and match fees
Each season we need to cover various costs. These include affiliation fees, insurance, pitch hire, post-match teas, training and team kit.
To help cover these costs, you need to pay an annual subscription fee. If you play matches, you'll also need to pay a match fee.
The prices we charge are very competitive compared to other clubs of a similar size and standing in Yorkshire.
We do not make an annual profit from subscriptions and fees, we simply run the club to cover our costs.
All fees are agreed by members at our AGM.
The subscriptions for the 2012/13 season are:
- Adults - £120
- Students - £65 (players in full-time education)
- Unemployed - £65
- Juniors - £65
- Training membership - £60 (attending training only and not playing Saturday matches)
All subscriptions must be paid in full to the Club by 31st October.
Cheques should be made payable to 'Leeds Hockey Club' and given to captains.
Selection after this date will be dependent on payment of subscriptions.
NB - For Junior members please make sure you make cheques payable to 'Leeds Junior Hockey Club'.
You can pay subscriptions by standing order - please speak to your captain to arrange this.
Match fees for the 2012/13 season are:
- Adults - £9
- Students - £6 (players in full-time education)
- Unemployed - £6
- Juniors U16 - £5 (when playing in Adult Leagues)
We charge match fees for every game and this should be given to captains or a delegated team mate.
STEP 4: That's it!
Just play hockey every week and have fun! Don't forget to come to all the Club socials and add to the friendly atmosphere!
If you want to get more involved in the club by volunteering to help with umpiring, organising socials, joining the management committee or
supporting the juniors (etc.) then just let us know!
