The LHC Lottery is a fundraising style lottery where players purchase a lucky number for the whole season, with a series of 10 monthly draws to decide the winner(s). Over the previous two seasons, we have awarded around £400 in prizes also have managed to raise nearly £300 for the club in the process.   

There are 8 main monthly draws, and 2 bonus draws - one at Christmas and one the end of the season - where you could win over £100!
In total 65% of the revenue will be returned in prizes with the remainder going to support the Club.

We anticipate that the Lottery will re-open for the 2011/12 season in Sept. The date of the first draw will then be confirmed, however draws are monthly.

How will it work?

• 50% of the entries for each monthly draw will constitute the prize fund for that month
• One winner will be picked at random each month who will win this prize
• If there are 60 or more entries there will be two prizes, with second prize being £10 and the winning prize the remainder
• An amount equivalent to 15% of the entries for each month will be contributed towards the bonus draws at Christmas and the end of the season

Examples...

• With 40 members, the monthly prize fund will be £20; the bonus draw prize fund will be £50
• With 60 members, the monthly prize fund will be £30; the bonus draw prize fund will be £75
• With 100 members, the monthly prize fund will be £50; the bonus draw prize fund will be £125

What else do I need to know?

If you have a preference for a lucky number let Rick know and we will try to give you that number if it is available.  Otherwise you will be allocated a number randomly.  Don't worry though, all the numbers have an equal chance of winning!

We would like as many people as possible to take part, however all entries have to be made by members of LHC who are at least 16 years of age.  You can enter more than once and if you win we will let you know which of your numbers has won.

How do I know if I have won?

After each draw we will publicise the winners here and send out an email to all club members.
