For the last two seasons, Lewis has been rebuilding the 1st and 2nd XI Men’s squads and in 2010/11 narrowly missed out on promotion back to North Premier with the 1st XI, whilst the 2nd XI were promoted to Yorkshire Premier under the guidance of Glenn Hayes and Jass Panesar. Both teams will be looking for promotion in 2011/12!
In addition to coaching club sides Sheffield Hallam and subsequently Leeds, Lewis has also coached at junior international level, being Assistant Coach to the Wales U16 Boys who came second in the Homes Nations in July 2009 and more recently having assisted both the England U16 and U18 Boys throughout the summer of 2010. He will also be one of the Assistant Coaches with the England U21 Men when they play Holland in July 2011.
For more information on Lewis' many, many other roles within hockey take a look at his Director of Coaching page.

For the last two seasons, Glenn has been the Assistant coach to the Men’s 1sts and has been Head Coach of the Men’s 2nd XI, guiding them (with his assistant coach Jass Panesar) to promotion last year and then adding the cup final to the trophy cabinet beating the team who won the Yorkshire Premier league which is the league that the 2nd XI have been promoted in to.
Glenn was obviously pleased with last year’s performance (in particular with the fact that some of the younger members of the club are now breaking in to the 1st team) and is hopeful of another successful season.
Glenn is a former captain of the Mens 1st X1, has played North Prem and county level hockey for 2 different counties but has had to take a step back playing due to injury. He is happy to now give something back to the club where he has played for over 10 years.

Jaspal has assisted Glenn in the last two seasons at 2nd XI level, helping out wherever he can, along with leading the team very successfully in Glenn's absence.
Last season Jass lead the Ladies 3s and 4s session, and developed many of the ladies into better players. This year he is looking to push the thriving Men's section for success.
As a player Jass has played at National League level and the experience, from that level, he brings to the club is second to none.

Robin started his coaching whilst at Nottingham Trent University in 2007, coaching both the Men's and Women's sides. In addition he coached the junior section at a local hockey club in Nottingham.
Since returning to Leeds in 2009 he spent a full season in the coaching programme at Leeds Met University under an EHB Centrally Contracted Coach, and also spent some time assisting with coaching at a North Premier Division Ladies team, whilst injured from playing.
Last season he became involved in the coaching at Leeds Hockey Club where he lead some sessions in Glenn and Lewis' absence.
This season he is looking to improve the overall core skills of the lower reaches of the Men's sides, whilst ensuring that the wide range of abilities and ages are enjoying the sport.

Hugh started coaching while playing for Leighton Buzzard HC. Whilst there he regularly coached the junior section, and on occasions the senior teams.
Since moving to Leeds, Hugh has been playing for a range of the Men's sides and took very little convincing to undertake the EHB Level Two qualification in the Summer.
Since then he has been involved with a number of coaching sessions for all different abilities; He runs a successful Hockey Development Academy for junior hockey players in the Summer, and is also involved in the hockey programme at The University of Leeds. In addition, he is also the Junior coach at the club.
