Here at Leeds Hockey Club, the social side of playing hockey is almost as important as our success on the field of play (some would say more so!).  The club organises a range of social fundraising events throughout the year and we encourage all members, friends and family to attend – to help build a positive sprit and atmosphere within the Club.

Social Committee

Each season, we need volunteers to help who are willing to join the social committee.  We ideally look to get a good spread of people from across the club to help us with the following:

• Think about the kind of socials people want that we can realistically run
• Promote social events to encourage team mates and other club members to attend
• Help plan, manage and organise some of the socials

If you fancy getting involved with the social committee then please get in touch. We need volunteers!

We've had a range of fun events this season, listed below, where we not only managed to have great nights out, but raise some funds for the club in the process.

100 Club  

This is a fundraising style lottery with 10 draws throughout the season, with the first one taking place usually in early October. We have given out over £265 in prizes last season, and have raised almost £150 for the club in the process. Hopefully we'll continue with this next year, and may have two prizes each month.  
 
There will be 8 main monthly draws, and two bonus draws at Christmas and the end of the season where you could win over £100! In total 65% of the revenue will be returned in prizes, with the remainder going to support the club.
