Joining Leeds Hockey Club is simple....

Step 1:  Come to training
If you would like to join our club to play at any level, the best thing to do is come down to one of the training sessions, check out our facilities and meet the coaches and players. You may like to pass your contact details to a captain so they can stay in touch with you!

Step 2:  Register your details online
To complete your registration, you need to provide further details which are required by England Hockey. To do this, you must complete our online registration form. 
(Please note the online registration form is currently not available as it is being updated for the new season.)

Once you have filled in the form, a member of the Club committee will approve this and generate your official Club Number, which is needed for various league administration purposes. Your details will also be shared with the player selection committee, so you can be picked for matches, subject to payment of subs in due course!

When you fill the form in, you can also sign up for club emails and set up a password that allows you to access the members section of the website. Step 3:  Pay your subscriptions and match fees
Each season the club has to cover various costs such as affiliation fees, insurance, pitch hire, post-match teas, training and team kit. All members therefore pay an annual subscription fee and those playing matches must also pay match fees each weekend. The prices we charge are very competitive compared to other clubs of a similar size and standiing in Yorkshire. We do not seek to make an annual profit from subs or fees and simply run the club to cover our costs. All costs are agreed by members at our AGM.

The subscriptions for the 2010/11 season are:

• Adults - £120
• Students - £65 (players in full-time education)
• Unemployed - £65 (players claiming unemployment benefit)
• Juniors U16 - £60 (playing 10 games or more for senior side)
• Training membership - £60 (attending training only and not playing Saturday matches)

All subscriptions must be paid in full to the Club by 31st October (cheques should be made payable to Leeds Hockey Club and given to captains). Selection after this date will be dependent on payment of subs. Alternatively, a standing order can be set up and you should speak to your captain for further details about this.

Step 4:  That's it!
Just play hockey every week and have fun!  Don't forget to come to all the Club socials and make more new friends!  If you want to get more involved in the club by volunteering to help with umpiring, organising socials, joining the management committee or supporting the juniors (etc.) then just let us know!
