As we all know this is anything but a normal season. As the deadline for collecting membership fees approaches I am writing to you with an update.
The season started, although a little delayed, and the Club has incurred costs relating to pitch hire, league fees and insurance.
I would like to thank those members who have already paid their membership for the 2020/21 season.
The Club understands that members have been reluctant to pay upfront given the current pandemic. Following the committee meeting on Tuesday 10 November, the Committee have come to the following compromise.
We ask that members pay at least half of their membership by the deadline Sunday 15 November 2020. The other half of your membership will be due by Thursday 7 January 2021. We would prefer that members paid the full amount if possible.
If you have not made the second payment by 07/01/2021 then you will not be able to train or play with Leeds Hockey Club until the second payment has been made. This will be strictly enforced.
If for any reason the season is ended early, further correspondence will follow regarding any refunding of fees.
A few of you had signed up to pay by Direct Debit. Unfortunately we are having to remove this option due to an issue error within the ClubBuzz system which will not be rectified in time. We hope that we will have been able to fix this for the 2021/22 season and offer this as the preferred method of payment.
