Two of Leeds Hockey Club’s rising stars have made it through to the next stage of selection for their respective age group selection for England.
Jess Ferguson – Girls U18
Ollie Lumnley, Head of Girls Hockey at LHC said:
“Jess has made it through to the second round of England U18 trials, making it from 200 down to the final 60. Jess joined LHC from Bradford HC several seasons ago so huge credit must also go to them in her development.”
Will Gascoigne – Boys U16
Carl Smith, Head of Boys Hockey at LHC said
“We would like to congratulate Will Gascoigne, who has joined LHC this season from Slazenger HC, on his selection to the next round of the England U16 boys trials. Will made his debut in the Men’s 1XI this season at the age of 15 and has been training with the club for the past two seasons. We wish him all the best.”
