Leeds Hockey Club’s Girls U18, U16 and U14 teams along with the Boys U16 teams have all had a strong performance in the England Hockey Club Plate Competitions, having been knocked out of the Club Championships in Round 1.

Boys U16
Following a very close 2-1 defeat to City of York in the England Hockey U16 Cup, Leeds U16 boys have gone from strength to strength in the Plate competition with victories away at Wigton (6-3), at home to Sheffield Hallam (3-1) and most recently away at Timperely.
We have now secured a place in the Semi Finals vs Cheltenham with a hard fought 2-1 win agaisnt Timperly. Penalty corners were the difference with Leeds scoring 2 from 2 through well executed routines with Timperely only managing to convert one out of 10+ opportunities with due to a great defence and goalkeeeping.
