Leeds Hockey Club are delighted to announce nine of our juniors have been selected for England Hockey Player Pathway teams.
Club Vice Chair Phil Stubley has said “Congratulations to all successful players and their coaches at the club who have helped them along the way.”
All players have been added to our Junior’s Roll of Honour.
England – National Age Group
Under 16
We are delighted that Will Gascoigne has been selected for the England U16 squad and made his debut against Wales on Saturday 3 July 2021. Will joined LHC from Slazengers Hockey Club and has been involved with our performance set up since.
Pennine Pumas – Futures Cup
Eight of our club juniors have been selected for their respective Pennine Pumas Futures Cup Squad for 2021.
The players will go on to represent the North as Pennine Pumas against the three other regions in the Futures Cup, this year to be held in St Albans between 25 and 28 August. The Futures Cup is the next step towards National Selection for the U16 and U18 ages groups.
