At the end of the first season of using ClubBuzz to collect membership and match fees we as a club are very happy with the results. It has removed pressure from captains to collect and manage cash as well as smoothing the income of funds into the club.
Following the AGM last night and looking into the 2022/23 season we have a request:
We would like to ask you to sign up to pay your fees by Direct Debit.
Paying LHC by Direct Debit will remove our need to chase members to pay and ensure that all members will not become ineligible for playing because they have gone over the limit.
Direct Debit can be set up on the ‘My Profile‘ page on the club website, just click “Set up a Direct Debit”. If you are a parent, you would need to do this for each of your children’s profiles.
Our Direct Debit provider is GoCardless.
The Direct Debit Process
If you have a balance on your account on the 23rd of the month, you will receive an email from the system, asking you to log on and check your balance. This allows you to query any balance that is present on your account to the club.
On the 1st of the month, the balance on your MFA page will be sent to GoCardless. You should the receive an email from GoCardless stating how much the club will collect from your account. If you think there has been an error, you can ask the treasurer to hold the collection.
This collection will normally occur on or just after the 6th of the month.
If the Direct Debit has been successful the on the 11th your account page will credited.
We ask that if you are signed up to pay by direct debit, you do not make a payment by credit or debit card between the 1st and 11th of the month.
