Leeds Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the Minis programme will commence this Saturday (5th November ) until further notice (excluding the Christmas break).
Time: 08:45-09:55
Location: Top Pitch, Sports Park Weetwood
Who: Any player in Year 3 or younger.
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during the start of the season.
The delay was caused by ensuring that we had a sustainable coach workforce for the long-term running of the programme through the winter and beyond, this particularly includes a lead coach to oversee the safe running of sessions.
We are pleased that Alex Jones Gerrard will regularly lead the programme, supported by a team of coaches, all who currently coach within the rest of the junior section.
The session will be for Under 8s only at this time.
These sessions will use normal hockey balls and will be playing with other players so shinpads and gumshields must be worn.
We very much welcome support from keen parent helpers to step in and support the coaches in sessions. Those interested are encouraged email an express an interest to the email address below.
