Today, the Yorkshire Youth Hockey League (YYHL) announced that, following several consultations, the YYHL competitions for u10/12/14/16 will be delayed until January 2021. This means there is no ‘usual’ competition format for LHC teams to enter. Women’s 1XI For the second year Leeds Hockey Club’s Women 1XI come home with the Yorkshire Cup Starting the Weekend with a 2-2 draw against Doncaster, the team progressed through to today’s final following a 3-0 win via penalty strokes. Sunday’s final saw them face Ben Rhydding 1XI. Following a gruelling 70 minutes of hockey, the score was tied 0-0 meaning another penalty shootout.
